Dragon Tiger calculator
Deck count and tie rules
How it works
Two cards are dealt without replacement. After the first card there are 4d−1 cards of the same rank among 52d−1 remaining. Dragon and Tiger share the other probability equally.
With 8 decks, a tie occurs 31/415 of the time. Losing half on a tie gives the side bet a 3.735% house edge.
Fresh shoe, ace low, suits do not break the main tie. The side pays 1:1. Suited-tie probability is shown separately, without assuming a payout.
