Your share of the pot right now, equal to your chance of winning it.
Equity is the percentage of the pot that is mathematically yours — if you'll win a 200 pot 40% of the time, your equity is 80. Calling is profitable when your equity beats your Pot odds. Fold equity adds the chance your opponent folds; see Fold equity and the calculator.
