Fractional odds
The UK format: profit relative to stake, written as a fraction.
Fractional odds quote profit only, so 6/4 means four staked returns six in profit — the same price as 2.50 in decimal. Traditional UK racing markets still use them, which is why the same bet can look unfamiliar in two places. The odds converter moves between them.
