Free bet

A promotional stake returned as winnings only — the stake itself is not.

A free bet (stake not returned) pays only the profit portion, so a 10 free bet at 3.00 returns 20 rather than 30. That puts its cash value well below face value, and longer odds extract more of it. The free-bet calculator converts face value into real value.
