Asian Handicap Calculator
Settle any handicap line, including quarter splits.
How it works
An Asian handicap gives one team a head start (or deficit) in goals, removing the draw. Add the handicap to your team's goal margin: if the adjusted result is positive the bet wins, if it is exactly zero the stake is refunded, and if negative it loses.
Quarter lines like −0.25 or −0.75 split your stake equally across the two nearest half-lines, which is how half-win and half-loss results arise. This calculator settles any line from the score and shows the exact return.
Asian Handicap Calculator
Asian handicaps remove the draw by giving one team a goal head start or deficit, and quarter lines split your stake to create half-win and half-loss results. This free Asian handicap calculator settles any line from the final score and shows the exact return and profit.
How Asian handicaps settle
Apply the handicap to your team's goal margin. If the adjusted result is positive the bet wins and pays at the odds; if it is exactly zero the stake is refunded (a push); if negative the bet loses. A −1 handicap, for example, means your team must win by two or more for a full win, and a one-goal win becomes a push.
Whole and half handicaps (−1, −0.5, 0, +0.5) give a single clean outcome — win, push or loss.
Quarter lines and split stakes
Quarter handicaps such as −0.25 and −0.75 split your stake equally across the two nearest half-lines. A −0.25 bet is half on 0 and half on −0.5: if the match is a draw, the level-ball half is refunded and the −0.5 half loses, so you lose half your stake — a half-loss.
Likewise −0.75 winning by exactly one goal is half a push and half a win — a half-win. This calculator handles every case automatically and reports the result type alongside the return.
How does an Asian handicap −0.25 work?expand_more
Your stake is split between a 0 handicap and a −0.5 handicap. If your team wins, both halves win; if it draws, the level half is refunded and the −0.5 half loses, giving a half-loss; if it loses, both halves lose.
What is a half-win or half-loss?expand_more
On quarter lines the stake is split across two handicaps. When one half wins or pushes and the other does not, you get half the win or half the loss — hence half-win and half-loss results.
What happens on a push?expand_more
If the adjusted result is exactly zero — for example a −1 handicap and a one-goal win — the stake is refunded in full with no profit or loss.
