MDF & Bluff-to-Value Ratio Calculator
Defense, bluff share and break-even folds.
How it works
MDF is the range fraction that must continue to prevent automatic profit from a zero-equity bluff. The balanced bluff share is a different quantity: the caller's break-even equity.
A 50 bet into a 100 pot gives 66.67% MDF, 25% bluffs within the betting range, and one bluff for every three value bets.
A heads-up final-street toy game with a polarized range, zero-equity bluffs, no rake and no raises. MDF is not a universal instruction to call that percentage in every real hand.
