Each-way
One bet in two parts: a win bet and a place bet at a fraction of the odds.
An each-way bet doubles your stake into a win half and a place half; the place half pays a fraction (often 1/4 or 1/5) if your selection finishes in the paid places. It is common in horse racing and golf. The each-way calculator works out the return for each outcome.
